LiuGong Peru Opens in Lima, Deepening Its Latin America Presence

On August 28, LiuGong held the opening for LiuGong Peru in Lima under the theme Green the Andes, Connect the Future. The chairman of LiuGong Group and LiuGong Co., a LiuGong vice president and Peru's Deputy Environment Minister, Ms. Soto, attended, with more than 200 representatives of government, associations, customers and partners.

Deepening mining and infrastructure, advancing green and intelligent development

Peru is one of the world's major mining markets, where mining and infrastructure create steady demand for efficient, reliable, low-carbon equipment and services. Drawing on its global R&D, manufacturing and service system, LiuGong will accelerate the application of electric and intelligent products in Peru, focusing on mining and infrastructure to provide more efficient, greener equipment and solutions, using total cost of ownership (TCO) optimisation to raise operating efficiency and overall value.

Launching Latin America's first green-alliance project

During the opening, LiuGong launched the first Latin American project of its green alliance in Peru, working with local government, customers and partners on green public-interest initiatives and the application of electric products and green technology to create more social value for communities.

LiuGong also signed a school-enterprise cooperation agreement with Peru's SENATI national industrial training service, linking industry needs with talent development and giving local young people more technical learning and practical opportunities.

The chairman said LiuGong is steadily advancing complete solutions, full digitalisation and globalisation, driving equipment manufacturing toward the high-end, intelligent and green. For more than a decade LiuGong has served Peruvian mining, roads and water projects, with products proven in the complex Andes. Going forward, it will deepen local development, supporting Peruvian mining, infrastructure and urban-rural development while growing with the local market.
